le Restoration Ball

Julias straightened his tie, and walked in with Suefrone. He realised they were the first there, besides Ebonyzer, of course. He had his flask in his back pocket, just in case the line for alcohol was filled. Also, if they didn't have scotch, that'd surely suck.

Having received permission from her boss, Raynie traveled from North America to Europe. She had been rather shocked to receive an invitation to another nation's holiday party, but she was excited. It sounded like a place to forget the stress for one night, and a good reason to dress up extravagantly.

The country arrived and strode into the hall, playing with her fingers nervously. Her light brown hair fell in curls across her shoulders and cascaded down her back. Beading across the top of her long white ball gown sparkled in the light, and she felt self-conscious. The low heels she wore made her slightly taller than she normally was.

Upon spotting Jayark and Suefrone, Raynie approached, smiling nervously. In a gentle voice, she said, "Hello."

Jayark turned to her, smiling half heartedly. "Hi." he answered. He then leaned in. "Remember, you two. Do not let the enemy know our secrets. If they ask for your bomb plans out of curiosity, say no." he whispered.

Raynie chuckled, something she rarely did in public.
"Must we worry about such things right now?" she asked. She then added hastily, "But if the topic comes up, I won't say a word."

Suefrone, wearing a dark blue dress, walked in with Jayark. She looked around at the room, and noticed the beer. She wanted to go get some, but kept herself from doing so. She didn't really want to be here in the first place, but she decided to come for the better of her people.

She noticed another person come in the door, it was Raynie. She looked up at the other nation, her face holding no expression at the moment. "Hallo." She said using her native tongue. She turned to Jayark, and nodded.

"That's what they want you to do. The enemy set up this thing." he murmured. "Make sure you can hold your liquor. At least better than Britain would."
He chuckled at that comment of his.

"I was raised by Prussia, I think I can hold my liquor pretty well." Suefrone commented with a slight smile.

Frosteey walked in a little while after the others. She looked around at the large room and smiled. "Wow, this place is beautiful! Great work, Nadia!" She called to the older nation.
Audrey shoved away the blonde hair that fell over her shoulders and placed it behind her ear. She was clad in a silver dress, strapless, that fell to her ankles. She looked behind her to see if Stormark had followed her inside.

Stormark was wearing a standard black suit with a blue tie. He was staring impatiently at the food, not wanting to run into his dick of a brother. He stood next to Frosteey, nodding at Nadia.

Frosteey smiled and nodded to Ebonyzer. "Yes I did, actually. I guess I'm a tad bit more lucky than my grandfather, eh?" She joked, glancing at Stormark.

Frosteey nodded politely. "Alright, thank you." She dipped her head and headed for the refreshments. Looking around as she grabbed a cup of water, she spotted some other nations, including Jayark. "Hey Stormark, that's your brother, right? Why don't we go say hi?" She offered excitedly, unaware of the brothers hatred of each other.

Stormark didn't look at his brother. "I would rather take a nailgun to the head repetitively." he said through gritted teeth.

Frosteey blinked in surprise, but didn't say anything at first. She toke a sip of water. That doesn't sound pleasant... "Oh... I see... Do you want something to drink, then? Audrey asked, glancing at the small group. Why does Stormark hate Jayark so much? Frosteey never had a sibling, unless Frostria counted, though she doubted she did. She thought that brothers were suppose to love each other unconditionally, though she couldn't be more wrong.

Stormark's hatred wasn't showing anymore. "Ah. Sure." he said with a smile.

"C'mon Yaseed!~" Mongoosola started to skip into the room with a look of excitement, in a standard military uniform that she had prepared herself. Not like it mattered, all of her clothes were the same black uniform, but that doesn't matter. The short, young Project was excited for this; she had never been to such an occasion. It had taken some pressuring and some stab wounds to convince her big brother to take her. Mongoosola couldn't quite understand why Sleepyyawn was so reluctant to go, it was supposed to be fun! And better yet, it was at Ebonyzer's house, so it wasn't some kind of trap for him. She looked out of place among the better dressed nations; Mongoosola with her comically oversized stahlhelm and uniform, but Mongoosola wasn't quite familiar with this type of stuff. As she gazed around the large room, she realized she didn't hear Sleepyyawn. "...Yaseed?" she turned around to see no one.

Meanwhile, Sleepyyawn sat in his large house, surrounded by sandbags and booby traps, back to his window with a large telescope aimed at New Taiwan's house, to avoid the horror of dancing.

Suefrone's slight smile disappeared as she saw some others enter the room. She instently grabbed a hold of Jayark's arm signaling her dislike for large groups, even though there was barely anyone here.

Frosteey sighed and looked around. This wouldn't be a fun party if everyone was on guard... Maybe everyone should get drunk, that would probably fix everything. ^^ Taking another sip of water, she spotted Mongoosola and waved. Audrey didn't exactly know her, but they were allies, so what the heck? Or, at least Frosteey thought they were allies, she was somewhat blurry on that subject....

I hate this suit..
Daessia entered the main room, tugging furiously at his indigo tie, which was far too tight. His boss had forced him to accept the invitation to the ball, and had even had a suit made for him.. Much to Markus' discouragement. It was most likely an attempt to get Daessia more friendly with Isanna.. Also discouraging.
Markus was an antisocial.. or rather, bad with creating small-talk, as it usually ended up in knife-throwing. That was what had killed Russia.
He stopped next to Ebonyzer, scouting the room out thoroughly. So far, he hadn't spotted Isanna, which was the up-side. Hmph. Maybe this can be somewhat occupying, after all. "You quite enjoy get-togethers, don't you?" he murmured to the European woman.

Sofie walked into the large hall, not liking the general formality of the occasion. She'd been raised mainly by Brazil, and this was not Brazilian tradition. But the country had agreed to come. She didn't know the countries very well, and that wasn't a good thing. Germany may have agreed, but Brazil was very social.

Sighing, she tugged at the long dress she wore. It went to her ankles. She scoffed at the thought of wearing such a long dress, but her boss insisted she wear it. He had no taste. He just thought that it would work better at a formal meeting...or whatever you could call it. The top was all beads, purple, gold, and black. The skirt was a silky gold, and she wore a black cardigan. Her shoes were very tall, thin gold heels. Her boss at least agreed to that.

Dewwitopia's long black-brown hair was braided to look shorter, with beads matching the dress. She felt very out of place in the large room. She often missed World Meetings, and didn't know the relations between any of the countries, or even some of their names. So she decided to greet the hostess.

"Hallo, Ebonyzer." She greeted with a thick German accent. Raised with Brazilian culture, and the German language. "Hallo, eh, Daessia?" She greeted, asking the name as well, hoping she had it right.

Daessia turned his head. It was Dewwitopia. He'd never met her before, and he was certainly surprised to hear her German-accented voice. "Guten Abend. I presume that we haven't met, have we?"

"Thank you. Guten Abend. And no, we haven't before." She smiled kindly at the man. She'd been to few World Meetings and had seen him around. But never had she approached him.

"You are related to Ger- I mean, you are of German origin.. ja?" Let's not get touchy, now.. he thought irritably to himself, annoyed that he'd almost mentioned Germany. "Pardon my lack of good speech structure." As usual, his tone had grown bitter at the hint of his brother. It was his fault that Daessia had ended up this way, though.. Verdammte, why did my boss have to send me here? There's too many people. Sleepyyawn is lucky. "Maybe we're related."
