Deathly Illness [Apparently for Icee.]

Daessia grimaced.
The sickness had only just started, but already, it felt like.. hell. Sweat shone on Markus' forehead, his head throbbed like a drum, and wracking pains made his body shake. Every minute or so, he dragged a blanket over his body, a cold chill running up his spine. But, as soon as his did, he was enveloped in sickening heat. He didn't have the strength to get up, and eating.. It only ended coming back up in hot vomit. All he could do was lay in his bed, and hope it would go away. He couldn't cure it until the rest of his citizens were cured. Many of his citizens were sick with the disease, and therefore, it made him suffer as well.. The major down-side to being born a nation.

He closed his eyes, but sleep did not come. Instead, he only got freakish, blurred images of faces, which was the fever's doing. He lifted his arm up and touched the towel that was on his forehead. It was no longer cold. If Markus would have had the strength to stab something in frustration, he would have. He was completely immobile.
At least there was no yapping nit-wits to deal with.. That Daessia knew of so far.


ooc: If you guys are wondering what happened here, he is sick with malaria, which recently invaded the country.. Unfortunately and oddly. Thankfully, le futuristic medicines will eventually cure it.
And now cue Isanna, who's gonna make it ten times worse, because she brought up the topic, and thus, gets to join. ;n;
