1.
While we're a completely different roleplay, we still have to abide by WCC's basic rules as long as we're here (Which will probably be forever). As of the opening of the site, we're free to do what we want.2. The Regional Message Board isn't for roleplaying.
3. You can
NOT join topics that were made before the approval of your nation.
5. You can't
completely destroy another nation -- no matter how strong you are -- unless the owner of that nation gives you permission to do so. You could capture the government and occupy it, but eventually you'd have to back off and let the country live.
6. The leaders of the nations are actual characters that matter, so you may not kill them without permission. This same rule applys to Royal Families and other characters that have actual development.
7. All Assembly of WCC members are part of this roleplay universe. Even if you choose not to participate in the roleplay (I don't see why you wouldn't, our region is for roleplaying), you're acknowledged as a nation by everyone.
8. Most importantly, you can't roleplay here if you're not a member of NationStates and/or part of the region. Our countries must develop as they do in real life, to poof some made up nation into existance would be unfair to everyone who chose to start out with an NS account and have a relatively weak nation.
9. A nation that ceases to exist within the game world can be ressurected. If this happens to you and you ressurected it, just pretend like nothing happened.
10. Those banned from the region are considered dead nations to The Assembly of WCC.
11. From now on, no mythical creatures. Try to keep some realism, okay? We're based in the real world, dragons and the like are a little too much. If you have included some unrealistic creature in your posts, just try to play it off like it was either a real animal that resembles it or some kind of illusion.
13. Realistic proportions. If you have a dirt poor economy, you don't have the money to invest in lunar colonies. If you're a dictatorship, the people most likely don't love and respect you, and if they do they're pretending or are brainwashed with propaganda.
14. Accounts that are supposed to replicate real life nations will not be accepted into the roleplay (For example, making an account called Britain).
NATIONSTATES:
NationStates is a political simulation game made by Max Barry, based off of his book
Jennifer Government. You can join it
here. Our region is password protected to deter region raiders and non-WCC members. Join the region
